The Great Gemstone Journey

Rachel’s heart did a sank in the lobby of the Springhill Suites. Her  ADJECTIVE engagement ring, adorned a  ADJECTIVE diamond, was gone! Vanished! In Orlando, of all places, during a  ADJECTIVE business trip. She’d arrived that afternoon, a blur of  ADJECTIVE airports and  ADJECTIVE taxis. “It has to be here,” she  VERB (PAST TENSE), dumping her  ADJECTIVE suitcase onto the  NOUN. A  ADJECTIVE knock announced her coworkers, Jana and Todd. They’d seen her  ADJECTIVE face in the hallway and came to  VERB. “Everything okay?” Todd asked, looking  ADJECTIVE. “My Ring!” Rachel cried, waving her hands. “I lost it!” My fiancé Karl is going to be so  EMOTIONTodd and Jana jumped into action. They  ADVERB searched the  ADJECTIVE room, under the  NOUN, behind the  PLURAL NOUN, even in the  ADJECTIVE  NOUN. Their  ADJECTIVE search took them across Orlando. Jana checked  ADJECTIVE lost and founds, peered into  ADJECTIVE fountains, and Todd even asked a  ADJECTIVE Mickey Mouse if they’d seen a  ADJECTIVE ring. As the sun set, their  NOUN faded. Rachel felt  ADJECTIVE. Back at the  ADJECTIVE hotel, her  NOUN rang. It was Karl. “Hey,  TERM OF ENDEARMENT,” he said. “Your ring’s on the  ADJECTIVE bathroom  NOUN. You must have left it before you left for the trip.” ADJECTIVE silence. Then,  ADJECTIVE laughter. Todd and Jana  VERB (PAST TENSE) with relief.
